What is this service?

5D BIM integrates cost information with the three-dimensional model and the project programme — providing a dynamic cost plan that can be interrogated, updated and reported against as the design evolves. We work with BIM models to extract quantities at appropriate LODs, supplement model data with traditional measurement where required and produce cost plans linked to the model geometry.

This service is particularly valuable on larger or more complex projects where the design is being developed in a collaborative BIM environment. BIM-integrated quantity extraction reduces the risk of measurement errors, speeds up the cost planning process and provides a single source of truth for quantities that can be referenced by the wider project team.
